WeSyncApp Account & Data Deletion Policy

Effective date: July 19, 2026

This policy explains how you can permanently delete your WeSyncApp account and the data associated with it. WeSyncApp is operated by We Sync Global, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy applies to the WeSyncApp web application and the WeSyncApp iOS app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Your Right to Delete Your Account

In short: You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, at any time — no phone call, no email, no hoops.

You do not need to contact us, call anyone, or give a reason to delete your account. Deletion is available directly in the product:

Web app: Sign in, then go to Settings → Account → "Delete my account…" and type DELETE to confirm.
iOS app: Open Settings → Delete Account and confirm at the double-confirmation prompt.

Both paths perform a full deletion of your account and associated personal data — not a deactivation, suspension, or "hiding" of your account. This is the same deletion regardless of which device you start from, because your web and iOS accounts are one and the same account.

If you are ever unable to complete deletion in the app (for example, because of a technical problem), you may also request deletion by emailing julzmuzix@icloud.com from the email address on your account. We honor those requests on the same terms and timeline described in this policy. In-app deletion is never conditioned on making such a request first.

2. What Gets Deleted

In short: Deleting your account removes your account, your artists, your fan lists, your uploads, and everything the platform created for you.

When you delete your account, we delete the following from our production systems:

Your account and organization. Your login credentials (email and password record held by our authentication provider, Supabase), your user ID, your organization record (including the copy of your email stored for digest delivery), and your plan and settings.
Artist profiles. All artist profiles in your organization, including names, genres, bios, locations, platform links, uploaded profile photos, and AI-generated brand kits — whether the profile is you or an artist you manage.
Fan lists. All fan records collected through your smart links, including fan email addresses, names, and the stored consent records. See Section 6 before you delete — this data cannot be recovered.
Uploaded and generated media. All audio, video, artwork, images, voiceovers, and video-editor exports, including copies held in our cloud storage mirror, along with derived data such as speech transcripts and audio analysis.
Consultations and AI work product. All consultation intake answers (including free-text notes about goals, budget, team, and brand), AI-generated research reports, marketing plans, generated content (captions, scripts, posts), and stats reports.
Smart links. Your public smart-link pages go offline. Their URLs stop resolving, the signup forms stop accepting new fans, and publicly served artwork for those pages is removed.
Activity and analytics. Your in-app activity log, streak data, link engagement counts (views, clicks, signups), imported metrics, and import history.
Stored API keys. Any third-party API keys you saved in Settings (for example, AI or analytics provider keys) are deleted. We recommend you also rotate those keys with the provider that issued them, as a general security best practice.
Email digests. You are removed from the weekly digest immediately; no further emails are sent to you by the platform.

Deletion also flows through to our infrastructure: database rows are removed from our hosted database, and media files are removed from our server storage and any configured storage mirror.

What we cannot delete: copies of your content that exist outside our systems. For example, if you exported a fan list CSV, downloaded media to your device, posted generated content to social platforms, or sent content to a third-party AI provider using your own API key, those copies live in systems we do not control. Requests about those copies must go to the operator of that system (for AI providers, that is the provider whose key you configured).

3. What May Be Retained, and Why

In short: We keep only what the law requires or what we need to prevent fraud, and residual backup copies age out on our hosting providers' own schedules — typically within about 35 days, which we don't control directly.

We may retain limited information after deletion, only for as long as necessary, in these cases:

Legal obligations. Records we are required to keep by law — for example, tax, accounting, and (once billing launches) transaction records — are retained for the legally required period.
Fraud prevention, security, and enforcement. Minimal records needed to prevent abuse (for example, evidence relating to a Terms of Service violation, a legal claim, or an ongoing investigation) may be retained until the matter is resolved.
Backups. After we delete your data from our live systems, residual copies may persist for a period in our hosting providers' routine backups (for example, Supabase and Railway). Those backups age out and are overwritten on each provider's own retention schedule — typically within about 35 days — which we do not control directly. Backup copies are not used for any purpose other than the provider's disaster recovery during that window.
Aggregated, non-identifying data. We may retain statistics that no longer identify you or anyone else (for example, total platform usage counts).
Deletion request records. A minimal record that a deletion was requested and completed, so we can demonstrate compliance.

Retained data is kept under this policy and our Privacy Policy, protected accordingly, and deleted when the retention reason ends.

4. Timeline

In short: Access ends immediately and your data is deleted from our live systems right away; residual backup copies age out on our hosting providers' schedules, typically within about 35 days.

Immediately: Your session ends, your sign-in record is disabled and deleted, your smart links go offline, and all data listed in Section 2 is deleted from our live production systems.
Typically within about 35 days: Residual copies in our hosting providers' backups (Supabase, Railway) age out and are overwritten on those providers' own retention schedules (Section 3), which we do not control directly.

If a residual backup copy persists longer than expected because of a provider's retention schedule or another reason outside our control, that copy is used only for the provider's disaster recovery and is not restored to the Service.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

In short: No one is being charged today. When paid plans launch, deleting your account will NOT automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription — you must also cancel it in your App Store settings.

Today: WeSyncApp does not process payments. There is no live billing on the web or in the iOS app, and no payment information is collected. Deleting your account today has no billing consequences because there are none to have.

When paid subscriptions launch, we expect to offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Stripe (web) and Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). When that happens, the following will apply:

Web (Stripe) subscriptions: Deleting your account will cancel your web subscription. You will not be charged again after deletion, and no refund is owed for the remainder of a paid period except where required by law.
Apple In-App Purchase subscriptions: Deleting your WeSyncApp account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Apple, not WeSyncApp, controls App Store billing, and we cannot cancel it for you. If you subscribed through the iOS app, you must also cancel through Apple or Apple will continue to charge you:
1.Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2.Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
3.Tap the WeSyncApp subscription.
4.Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

You can also manage subscriptions in the App Store app under your account profile, or at Apple's subscription management page. The iOS app's deletion flow will remind you of this before you confirm deletion.

Auto-renewal disclosure: When live, subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Apple subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account; a Restore Purchases option will be provided in the iOS app to re-link an active Apple subscription to your account (note that Restore Purchases cannot restore an account you have deleted — see Section 7).

6. Fan Data: Read This Before You Delete

In short: Your fan email list is deleted with your account — export it first if you need it. Fans themselves can always ask us to delete their data.

Export before you delete. Your fan list (emails, names, consent records) is permanently deleted with your account and cannot be recovered. If you have a legitimate, consent-consistent need for that list, use the fan CSV export in the app before starting deletion. Once you export it, you — not WeSyncApp — are responsible for that copy, including honoring the consent terms your fans agreed to (email updates about your music, with the ability to unsubscribe at any time) and applicable email and privacy laws.
Fans' own rights. Fans are real people with their own privacy rights. Any fan may request deletion of their information from WeSyncApp at any time by emailing julzmuzix@icloud.com — they do not need an account, and we will verify and honor the request whether or not the artist's account still exists. Fans may also contact the artist directly.
Deleting fan data without deleting your account. If you want fan records removed but wish to keep your account, contact julzmuzix@icloud.com.

7. Deletion Is Permanent

In short: There is no undo. Gone means gone.

Account deletion is irreversible. After the deletion windows in Section 4:

We cannot restore your account, artist profiles, fan lists, media, consultations, plans, or generated content.
Creating a new account with the same email address creates a brand-new, empty account — nothing carries over.
Restore Purchases (once billing exists) can re-link an active Apple subscription to an account, but it cannot resurrect deleted data or a deleted account.

Before you confirm deletion, the app will warn you that the action is permanent and give you a chance to cancel. Please download anything you want to keep — media files and your fan CSV — before confirming.

8. Requests From Outside the App

In short: You can also reach a human — and people who aren't users (like fans) can too.

Account holders: julzmuzix@icloud.com for help with the in-app flow; julzmuzix@icloud.com for privacy-specific requests (deletion, access, export).
Non-users (fans, artists profiled by a user, or anyone else): julzmuzix@icloud.com.

We may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming control of the relevant email address) before acting on a request, to protect your data from fraudulent deletion requests. We respond within the timelines required by applicable law (for example, GDPR and CCPA/CPRA where they apply), and in any event aim to respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

In short: If we change how deletion works, we'll post the update and tell you before it takes effect.

We may update this policy as the product evolves (for example, when billing launches). If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of WeSyncApp after the effective date of an updated policy means the updated policy applies. If any part of this policy is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
